How to split

Split PDF: step by step

  1. Upload your files or drag them onto the upload area. You can process several at once.

  2. Choose every page separately or just some of them (for example 1-3, 5) and press “Split”.

  3. Download the result. Your files are deleted automatically after 60 minutes.

Split PDF: what it's for

Splitting a PDF is handy when you only need part of it: sending one page of a contract, pulling a chapter out of a book or separating a scan that merged several documents. “Every page as a PDF” gives you a .zip with one file per page; “Extract pages” gives you a single PDF with the pages you list, in that order.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the pages to extract?

Type numbers and ranges separated by commas: “1-3, 5” extracts pages 1, 2, 3 and 5. “8-” goes from page 8 to the end. The new PDF follows the order you type them in.

Does the original PDF change?

No. New files are created and yours stays untouched. Pages are copied without losing quality.

Is it safe to upload my files?

Your files are only used for the conversion and are deleted automatically after 60 minutes. They're never shared with anyone.

Does it work on mobile, Mac and Windows?

Yes. It works in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install.
